The Theatre Box Office

The box office in the foyer is open before every performance and tickets for the next production can normally be purchased from 7:15 – 7:45 pm.

Our Booking Agency – Hollins of Marple

Due to the complexity of the Coronavirus pandemic, bookings in person at the Hollins are currently paused. We expect most bookings to be made on line. Where this isn’t possible, we plan to open the box office for an hour on the two Wednesday evenings before the run of each production and also for half an hour before the start time of each show.

If you are unable to attend on another night you may ask for the tickets to be resold. No refund will be given unless the show is a sell out and the tickets are resold.

Payments which are returned by our bank will incur a £20 charge.

COVID-19 Special Terms and Conditions

These tickets are sold on the basis that the existing government regulations in connection with Covid-19 will have ceased on or before the date of the show thereof. In the event of any such regulations continuing to apply then you must ensure that you comply with the same in all respects in so far as they apply to your visit to the theatre. In the event of your failing to do so then you shall indemnify the Theatre against any loss, demand or claim arising out of any such failure by you, your servants or agents.

Some of our events will be specifically more ‘COVID-safe’ to allow patrons a choice. If you buy a ticket for an event marked as socially-distanced then you will be expected to wear a mask for the duration of your visit (unless exempt), to maintain social distancing and to comply with the theatre on-way system. During these productions the bar and tea-room will be closed and refreshments will be available for pre-purchasing and brought to your seats.

Season Ticket Holders (Update July 2021 -Season tickets will not be available for the 2021/22 Season)

Season tickets can be purchased by completing the form readily available from the theatre.

If you want to exchange ALL of your tickets for another night Hollins will be pleased to assist you.

However, if you only want to exchange SOME of your tickets for another night this is more complicated and you will need to contact the Box Office. The box office will then split your allocation and will reissue the replacement tickets if the seats are available. Please ask a member of Hollins’ staff for a leaflet that gives full details.

The theatre box office can be contacted by email at: boxoffice@carvertheatre.co.uk. Please do not call the theatre phone number as this is just an outgoing message and will not be answered.

You can also return unwanted tickets by post to the theatre with your request. Please address your letter to “Box Office”. The Box Office will then split your allocation and will issue replacement tickets, if the seats are available. In this instance the tickets will have to be collected from the theatre.

Please supply stamped addressed envelope for your tickets to be sent, otherwise they can be collected from box office at your first performance.

Our licence forbids members of the audience from videoing or photographing any show. Perpetrators will normally be asked to leave the building.

The theatre reserves the right to swap a show at any time prior to the show run.

Season ticket payments which are returned by our bank will incur a £20 charge.

Event Cancellation

In the case of the cancellation of a show your tickets can be refunded.   If you bought your tickets online you will automatically be refunded through Ticket Source.  Season ticket holders will normally be refunded to the account that originally paid for the tickets.
